Spain is frankly a viticultural miracle, in recent decades the country has transformed from a hot, arid land to a leading producer of both ‘every day’ and fine wine. Spanish wine can largely be separated by the traditional (heavily oaked, light and vanilla scented) and the modern (fresh zingy whites and deeply coloured, rich reds).
