From the Coteaux du Pont du Gard in the south of France, vines in the Rhone Valley are regulated by a warm, dry wind called the Mistral that helps produce the perfect growing conditions. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan & Marselan, this is a very versatile wine similar in style to some of the more prestigious Cotes du Rhone appellations.

 About the Producer

The Domaine le Clos du Bailly winery is situated near to the Pont du Gard UNESCO World Heritage site. The winery here was established in 1779 and generations of the family have dedicated their lives to the vines ever since.

A soft, light bodied wine full of redcurrant and black cherry flavours and a peppery spice in the background. Ideally served chilled to bring out the vibrant fruit, this wine has a fine, silky texture, perfect with your Sunday roast chicken.
