“Blending 50/50 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir including 40% reserve wines, the NV Cuvée Hyménée Brut is the "Grande Cuvée" of Tendi & Lombardi. The wine (which undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks) spends at least four years on the lees, and after disgorgement, another year in the cave. The most recent Hyménée was bottled in April 2010 and disgorged in November 2014. The wine displays a very clear, deep, rich, precise and elegant bouquet with mineral flavors and aromas of herbs, almonds, yellow fruits and brioche. This Champagne is full-bodied and round, yet pure, straight, fresh and highly finesse-full on the palate. This delicate cuvée has a tender, stimulating grip and refined fruit in the complex and well-structured, persistent mineral finish. This is excellent." Robert Parker

"50/50 blend of chardonnay and pinot noir, aged for 48 months before disgorgement. Pale yellow. Lemon pith and quince on the high-pitched, spice-accented nose. Dry and precise, offering sappy orchard fruit flavors and deeper peach and honey nuances that gain strength with air. Finishes with very good energy and cling, leaving a floral note behind."
